REZERWA and the Port of Gdansk help towns affected by the storms
Employees of P.U.P. REZERWA,
of The Port of Gdansk Authority, will provide help to the municipality affected by the storm which passed over Poland on 11 August. REZERWA will carry out extensive clean-up works and provide necessary equipment to the Brusy municipality in the Pomorskie province.
Gdansk is about to launch the expansion of its quays and the fairway.
The project concerning the expansion of embankments and the upgrade of the fairway at the Port of Gdansk is officially set for execution. On 17 August 2017, the Port of Gdansk Authority signed an agreement with the contractor on the performance of construction works in the area of the Obroncow Poczty Polskiej Quay and the Mew Quay. The cost of the investment is over PLN 40m.
P.U.P. REZERWA (Port Services Company) has been recording very good financial results and forecasts further improvement of the development dynamics. In the first half of 2017, the company's y/y revenues increased by more than 1.2 million. At the same time, the company considerably raised its expenditure on investments. , organised cyclically in Ningbo, China, focused on the development of sea and road transport with the participation of Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, and China, among others.

Record transshipment results for the Port of Gdansk

one for the Port of Gdansk Authority in terms of transshipments. At the same time, in June 2017, the Gdansk port achieved the highest monthly result in its history, handling over 3.6 million tonnes. Such good results are mostly due to the increase in the transshipment of fuels and general cargo, particularly containers and ro-ro type cargo.
