Information on the procedure and means of sea vessel-generated waste reception at the Port of Gdansk
Including change that became effective on 01.08.2009.
- Sea vessel-generated waste reception at the Port of Gdansk shall be
effected in accordance with the Act of September 12, 2002 on port vessel-generated
waste and cargo residues reception facilities (Journal of Laws No. 166
dated 2002, it. 1361), as well as the general rules and regulations
specified under "The port vessel-generated waste and cargo residues
management plan" approved by way of the decision made by the Governor
of Pomeranian Province no. SR.S.III.EZ/6621-26/06/07 of January 09, 2007
- The procedure and means of waste reception is binding to all sea vessels
regularly using the quays within the boundaries of the sea port in Gdansk,
with the exception of water crafts owned by the Navy, Border Guard and
Police, specific civil service vessels, as well as ships exempted from
the obligatory waste delivery at each time, based on the decision made
by a director of the Maritime Office
- Reception of waste shall be effected solely with the observance
of the procedure and means stipulated herein
- Reception of waste from vessels shall be effected solely by
companies indicated herein
- Reception of waste from vessels in the sanitary quarantine shall be
effected according to guidelines issued by the State Border Sanitary
Inspector
- Compliance with the rules and regulations of waste reception at the
Port of Gdansk shall be supervised by the Environmental Protection Team
at the Port of Gdansk Authority SA
