Notification of ships' calls via the Internet at the Port of Gdansk

The Dysport System monitors a ship from call notification to departure from the port. Call notification is the first input information, which precedes the ship approach to the port. It is performed by an agent or dispatcher, who enters the system through an Internet browser. Dysport uses the contents of data bases of the central dispatching system, which store information on all the vessels that have ever called at the port, as well as the IHS data base.

The notification of the ships' calls via the Internet by the agents and forwarding agents automatically supplies the dispatching database that can be used by all the parties involved: Harbour Master's Office, Border Guards, Customs Office, Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, etc.
