The Port of Gdansk at the Fracht Intermodal Transport Forum

On 13 April, the Fracht Intermodal Transport Forum was held at Amber Expo Gdansk for the fifth time. The event was organised under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, the Marshals of the Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie Regions, and the Mayors of the City of Gdansk and the City of Gdynia.

The Port of Gdansk at the largest maritime tourism fair in the world

The Port of Gdansk presented its offer at the Seatrade Cruise Global fair, which took place on 14-16 March 2017 in Fort Lauderdale (USA). It is the largest maritime tourism trade fair in the world, which has been organised for more than 30 years now. During the visit to Florida, the Port of Gdansk Authority also signed a letter of intent with PortMiami, concerning cooperation and the establishment of so-called sister port status.

A record number of passenger ship calls awaits the Port of Gdansk

The upcoming cruise season at the Port of Gdansk promises to be special. PGA SA expects that in 2017 as many as 67 passenger ships will call at the port, which is more than twice as many as last year.

Nissan chooses the Port of Gdansk - another automotive contract

Since April 1, 2017, a three-year contract for the transport of Nissan cars belonging to Renault Nissan Alliance via the Port of Gdansk will be implemented. Cars intended for the Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Ukrainian, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian markets will be transported to the Port of Gdansk.
