An investment at the Port of Gdansk nearing completion
85% of the work has already been executed. The NDI company will complete work on the redevelopment of the road and railway system at the Port of Gdansk. The ongoing work will result in 5.6 km of new roads, 16 junctions,
car park for heavy goods vehicles. An additional railway track leading to the DCT terminal has already been completed, along with new tracks leading to the coal terminals, and
railway traffic control system.

quarter of 2020 at the Port of Gdansk shows the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the maritime industry and the volume of goods handled at the port. In the 1
quarter of 2020, the Port of Gdansk achieved
lower by 8.3% than in the same period of 2019, concluding the 1
quarter with transshipments at the level of 11.3 million tonnes. Decreases were recorded in most cargo groups, apart from grain (+223%), LPG (+27%), and other bulk cargo (+6.4%).

Tri-City ports donated medical equipment to hospitals
On the initiative of Marek Grobarczyk, the Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, the Port of Gdynia and the Port of Gdansk have joined forces in the fight against the coronavirus. The #sharingkindness (#dzielmysiedobrem) campaign, initiated by the Port of Gdynia, is being expanded by another initiative, important from the perspective of counteracting the growing number of infections in Poland, aimed at purchasing four analysers constituting laboratory equipment for detecting SARS-CoV-2 infections.
The Port of Gdansk actively supports the fight against the coronavirus
The PGA donated 10 fully equipped tents to the National Fire Service to help combat the coronavirus. They may also be used as temporary admission rooms in front of hospitals, if needed, and streamline the paramedics' work.
Port of Gdansk is fully operational!
At the moment, cargo handling in the port is carried out smoothly, with proper caution and care for the safety and health of port employees.
