Changes to the composition of the Board of the Port Gdanski Eksploatac

On 21 February 2018, Piotr Karczewski handed in his resignation from the function of President of the Port Gdanski Eksploatacja S.A.. He will cease performing his duties on 28 February. The decision was made for personal reasons. The PGE Supervisory Board accepted Mr. Karczewski's resignation.

The Port of Gdansk will expand the Oliwskie Quay

In a little under two years, in the 3rd quarter of 2020, the Port of Gdansk is planning to put the modernised and expanded Oliwskie Quay into operation. The company put a contract out to tender and potential contractors can submit offers to 12 January. It is yet another investment which the PGA is planning to launch in the coming months. In total, the Port intends to spend about PLN 1 billion on investments by 2020.

The implementation of the Three Seas initiative is getting closer

The Port of Gdansk Authority and the Croatian Port of Rijeka signed a memorandum of cooperation. On 21 November, during the international "Sea, Transport and Logistics" conference in Croatia, the companies undertook to work for their common interests and the development of transport corridors. The Polish and Croatian ports are linked through the project of the Trans-European Transport Network, which is of great significance for the maritime industry and the economy of both countries.
