Signing of a preliminary agreement with Baltic Hub for the lease of a strategic site in the Port of Gdańsk

The Port of Gdańsk Authority has signed a preliminary agreement with Baltic Hub Container Terminal for the lease of land in the deep-water part of the Port of Gdańsk. The agreement, concluded on 30 December 2025, concerns the lease of a land property with an area of approximately 26.7 hectares.

Baltic Hub Container Terminal was selected in a tender procedure for a long-term lease, in which one bid was submitted. The promised agreement may be signed upon obtaining the required administrative and corporate approvals.

The site, known as Deepwater, is located within the Northern Port area.

“With such a valuable and strategically located area, its most effective development is crucial,” said Dorota Pyć, CEO of the Port of Gdańsk. “The signing of the preliminary agreement with Baltic Hub Container Terminal paves the way for the further development of the largest container terminal in the Baltic Sea.”
