The facility is comprised of two terminals connected by a conveying system:

This thoroughly mechanized terminal is suited to handling coal for export directly from railcars onto ships, or, indirectly, via storage yards.

This terminal is designed to ensure high throughput capacity of dry bulk cargo, mainly coal and iron ore, and to utilize at the same time the best available technologies in environmental protection.

All the services are provided by Cargo Handling and Storage Company Port Polnocny Ltd owned by the Belgian group Sea-Invest - leading port cargo handling company in Europe. Another shareholder in the company is ArcelorMittal Poland - the largest steel manufacturer in Poland.
