The terminal is comprised of fully-automated flat storage houses and silos, with a total storage capacity of 55 thou. tonnes and a cargo handling system to facilitate both import and export operations. Additionally, the terminal is equipped with comprehensive grain drying technology with a drying rate of 50 tonnes per hour. The Gdansk Bulk Terminal is suited to handling agricultural cargoes, mainly grain and pellets. The quay can accommodate vessels with up to 15 thou. DWT.

The quay is also suited to handling barley and malt for the purposes of the malt processing plant - Malteurop Poland Ltd also located here. A German company, Weissheimer Malz, was the investor in this project. The Bytomskie Quay also provides handling services of medical and technical gases operated by Linde Gaz Polska Sp. z o.o.
